PUNCH BOWL FRUIT CAKE 
1 lg. instant vanilla pudding
1 box yellow cake mix
1 lg. can crushed pineapple with juice
1 can cherry pie filling (or strawberry)
2 cartons Cool Whip

Bake cake by directions. Mix pudding by directions. Take 1 layer cake and break into pieces in punch bowl. Add the following in order:

1/2 pudding over cake
1/2 pineapple over pudding
1/2 pie filling over pineapple
1 carton Cool Whip

Repeat with second layer of cake. Refrigerate to chill.
