STRAWBERRY PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
2 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
2 c. sugar
2 c. water
5 heaping tbsp. cornstarch
5 tbsp. strawberry Jello
Duncan Hines Butter flavored cake mix
Large container Cool Whip
Approximately 2 quarts strawberries

Bake cake in layers according to directions on box. Glaze: Mix water and sugar thoroughly and add cornstarch. Cook stirring on top of stove or in microwave to rolling boil. Stir in Jello and return to boil. Cool in refrigerator. When all ingredients have cooled, slice cake layers in half making 4 layers. Put ingredients in punch bowl or other large glass bowl beginning with cake, pudding, strawberries mixed with glaze and finally Cool Whip. Continue layering until all used finishing with Cool Whip.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
