GRANDMA'S MEXICAN CORNBREAD 
1 1/2 c. cornmeal
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2/3 c. vegetable oil
1 c. buttermilk
3 c. chopped jalapeno peppers
1 (#2) can cream corn
1 c. grated cheddar cheese

Mix first 8 ingredients together in order listed. Pour half of the batter in a greased baking dish then sprinkle half of the grated cheese. Add rest of batter. Cover with remaining grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees until done about 45 minutes.
