CHEESE STRATA 
6 slices day old bread
3 tbsp. soft butter
1 c. shredded cheddar
6 slightly beaten eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
Cooked bacon
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8tsp. pepper

Butter bread. Cut into small cubes. Alternate layers of bread and cheese in a buttered 8 cup casserole. Blend the eggs and remaining ingredients. Pour over the bread. Cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, or until puffed and golden. Garnish with bacon curls. Serves 4.
