QUICK COCOA CUPCAKES 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, unbeaten
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. boiling water

Sift soda, salt and flour together. Put all ingredients in a bowl. Add boiling water last. Beat 3 minutes. Fill muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Frost.
