RIPE TOMATO RELISH | |
1 peck ripe tomatoes 4 peppers, red & green 6 med. onions 2 c. celery, finely chopped 1 oz. mustard seed 1 oz. ground cinnamon 2 lbs. brown sugar 1/2 c. salt 2 pt. dark vinegar Chop tomatoes and drain 1 hour. Mix together all ingredients well. DO NOT COOK. Can be kept in an open jar, weighted down and covered or put into jars and seal. |
