TEA CAKES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs, milk, and flavoring. Combine flour, salt, and soda together before adding to other ingredients. Mix all together. Bake at 325 or 350 degrees. Roll out and cut into shapes.
