CHICKEN POT PIE
1 (10 oz.) can Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup or Chicken or Turkey Pot Pie Soup
1 1/2 cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1 1/2 cups cubed, cooked chicken or turkey
3/4 cup chicken broth combined with 3 tablespoons flour
2 Pillsbury pie shells

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Mix soup, vegetables (may use fresh vegetables), chicken, and broth. (The mixture should be somewhat thick.) If only chicken noodle soup is available, it may be pureed in the blender to make a smooth gravy.

Put mixture into the bottom pie shell. Cover with the top pie crust and crimp to seal. Slice a few vent holes in the top.

Bake for 40 minutes or until golden. Cover pie edge with aluminum foil or a pie shield if it begins to brown too quickly.

First chicken pot pie that I ever made that turned out perfect. I added cream of celery soup, milk and 1 can of diced potatoes. Didn't have to thicken it at all.

I doubled the vegetables. Husband loved it, said it was far better than the frozen pot pies I usually buy. Will definitely make again!

This was a great dish. It's very adaptable to what you have on hand or what you like. I made it just like the good 'ol Swansons did with carrots, peas and potatoes. Delicious! I looked at many and landed on this one; Thank you for a great recipe!! (Can't wait to make it after Turkey Day!)

This recipe is awesome!!! I left out the chicken broth but was still excellent. I never cook... And when I say never I mean never but when I found this recipe it sounded easy enough to follow and it sure was. I made this for my family and they loved it :)

I add 1/2 cup of french onion dip to sauce, really flavored it up and used 1 can drained peas carrots and 2 boiled potatoes. Didn't use thickener, was thick enough.

Worked out great, my husband loved it. I bought frozen veggies which had potatoes already in the mix. Next time though, I would make it a deeper dish pot pie as I thought this was a lot of crust for the amt of filling. But loved it!

Excellent. I mixed 1/2 broth and 1/2 heavy cream with a splash of cooking sherry. Also salt, pepper and parsley. Used peas, carrots, onions, mushrooms as veggies. Smells and tastes amazing!

Made this tonight with my 14 year old son and it was good. I took the advice of other reviewers and added potatoes and cheese which definitely made it better but... I would highly recommend adding a bit more seasoning cuz it was missing that.. Can't quite put your finger on it ingredient and it was my son that said.. Add some pepper or seasoning salt. Will definitely try it again.Ooh yeah this recipe made alot. I actually had to use a much bigger dish than expected =)
