STRAWBERRIES IN CREAM 
3 tbsp. sugar, divided
1 c. finely chopped fresh strawberries
1 (8 oz.) carton commercial sour cream
1 c. whipping cream
1/4 c. dry white wine

Sprinkle 2 tablespoons sugar over chopped strawberries; let stand 15 minutes. Combine remaining 1 tablespoon sugar, sour cream, whipping cream and wine; beat with a wire whisk until smooth. Fold in strawberry mixture. Cover and chill at least 1 hour. Spoon into bowls and garnish each serving with a strawberry. Makes 4 cups.
