MEAT LOAF | |
1 1/2 lb. ground meat 3/4 c. quick cooking oatmeal, uncooked 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 egg, slightly beaten Combine all ingredients thoroughly. Pack together. Preheat electric skillet at 225°F. Melt 1 tablespoon butter. Place meat loaf in electric skillet and bake, covered, with vent closed, for 30 minutes. Carefully turn meat loaf to second side. Continue to bake for an additional 20 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes, still covered. Makes 8 servings. |
