H.R'S SLOW COOKER SPAGHETTI
SAUCE

3 (28 oz. ea) cans crushed tomatoes
7 tbsp. tomato paste
2 medium onions, diced
2 tbsp. butter (or olive oil)
1 lb. ground beef
4 fresh garlic cloves, diced
1 tbsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. dried oregano
1 tbsp. dried basil
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. browning sauce (Gravy Master or Kitchen Bouquet)

Pour crushed tomatoes and paste into slow cooker. In frying pan, cook onions in butter (or oil) until lightly brown. Pour into tomato mixture.

Brown ground beef in same frying pan until cooked well. Drain fat and pour hamburger into sauce. Add remaining ingredients except browning sauce. Stir well, cover and cook on low for 6 hours. During the last hour, stir in browning sauce and turn on warm setting if available. If not, the lowest setting will do.

This sauce is served best on top of pasta. Garlic bread is always a nice touch. Complete your meal with a slice of chocolate cake and hot beverage.
