LILLIAN'S CLAIR CAKE 
Crust:

1 stick butter
1 c. water
1 c. flour
4 eggs

Filling:

1 large pkg. instant vanilla or chocolate pudding
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened

Top:

Cool Whip
Hershey's chocolate syrup

Boil butter and water. Take off heat. Add flour and beat with fork. Cool.

With mixer, add eggs, one at a time. Put in greased 9 x 12-inch pan.

Bake at 400°F for 30 minutes. Cool.

Mix pudding and cream cheese. Beat well. Spread on crust. Spread Cool Whip on filling, then drizzle with Hershey's syrup.
