STRAWBERRY GLAZE PIE 
1 (9- or 10-inch) pie shell
1 qt. fresh strawberries, washed & hulled
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
Few drops red food coloring
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 carton Cool Whip

Measure and cut up 1 cup of the strawberries. Mix sugar and cornstarch in a 2-quart saucepan. Stir in water gradually until smooth. Add cut up berries. Cook, while stirring, over medium heat until thick and clear. Stir in food coloring. Cool. Stir in remaining berries, saving 1/4 cup for top of pie. Pour into shell. Chill until firm, about 3 hours. Top with Cool Whip and reserved berries.
