THE BOOGIE BURGER | |
1 lb. chopped sirloin 1 med. onion 1 tbsp. chives 3-4 sliced mushrooms 1 tbsp. olive oil 2 tbsp. honey 1/2 c. soy sauce 1/4 tsp. ginger 1/4 tsp. lemon juice 4 slices any cheese 1/4 tsp. garlic First mix honey, soy sauce, ginger and lemon juice in a small pot when thoroughly mixed maintain on low heat and stir occasionally. In a small skillet mix olive oil and garlic on medium heat. Prepare chopped sirloin with 1 medium onion, chopped and chives. Make 4 patties and cook on either stove or outdoor grill. Add sliced mushrooms to olive oil and garlic in small skillet, mix occasionally. While burgers are cooking brush on honey and soy sauce marinade. Turn brush frequently. Do not over cook mushrooms. When burgers are done. Put mushrooms on top of each burger. Place cheese slices over mushrooms. This will keep mushrooms on burgers when cheese melts. Serve on a bun or open and of course you should have fries and a cold one. |
