MOM'S APPLE CRISP 
4 c. sliced cooking apples
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/3 c. sifted enriched flour
1 c. oats, uncooked
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. melted butter

Place apples in greased shallow 8 or 9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine dry ingredients, add melted butter mixing until crumbly. Sprinkle crumb mixture over apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until tender. 6 servings.
