POLKA-DOT BAKED MACARONI 
1/2 lb. elbow macaroni (2 c.)
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 c. milk
1 1/2 c. grated processed sharp cheddar cheese (6 oz.) or pieces of Velveeta
1 pkg. frozen peas and carrots, thawed
1/2 can Spam or Treet, cut in cubes

Cook macaroni as directed. In saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour, soup and milk. Cook, stirring until smooth and thickened. Combine above and 1/2 can of Spam or Treet, put a layer in greased casserole. Place pieces of cheese on, and pour rest over it. Cut triangles of white American and put on top. Bake at 400 degrees until bubbling hot and golden, 30 minutes. You may have to lower temperature.
