1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Melt 1/2 chocolate bits and butter over low heat. Cool. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add remaining chocolate bits and nuts to flour mixture. Beat eggs, add sugar and vanilla; mix. Add melted chocolate mixture to egg mixture. Add flour mixture and mix until well blended. Place on cookie sheet and bake approximately 8 minutes.
