DATE BALLS 
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1 pack (8 oz.) pitted dates
1 cup angel flake coconut
1 cup chopped nuts
2 cups Rice Krispies

Cook brown sugar, butter, white sugar, and dates together for 6 minutes or until dates have mixed well. Add coconut, nuts, and Rice Krispies. While warm, form into balls and roll in powdered sugar or coconut.
