CHOCOLATE SOUR CREAM COOKIES 
3 oz. (3 sq.) unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. water
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter (softened)
2/3 c. dairy sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease cookie sheets. Melt chocolate with water in small saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly; cool. Cream brown sugar and butter until light and fluffy; blend in sour cream, vanilla, egg and melted chocolate.

Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. Blend flour, soda, and salt into creamed mixture. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 6-9 minutes or until set; cool.

FROSTING:

1 oz. (1 sq.) unsweetened chocolate
1/3 c. dairy sour cream
2 tbsp. butter
1-2 tbsp. milk
2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

In small saucepan melt chocolate with sour cream, butter and milk, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in powdered sugar and vanilla. Spread over cooled cookies.
