SQUASH CASSEROLE 
2 c. yellow squash, cooked
1 c. crushed cracker crumbs
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped fine
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 egg, beaten
1 c. sweet milk
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. grated American cheese
1/4 tsp. paprika
1 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

Mix all ingredients except cheese, paprika, and fresh parsley. Bake in 1 1/2 quart casserole dish at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese over top. Return to oven and allow cheese to melt. Remove and sprinkle with paprika and fresh parsley. Serves 6 to 8 people.
