SWEDISH RICE PUDDING | |
1 c. rice 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt Ground cinnamon 5 c. milk 2 cinnamon sticks 2 egg yolks 2 tbsp. butter In top of double boiler or a heavy pan, put rice, sugar, salt, milk, and cinnamon sticks. Cook for 1 minute or until rice absorbs all the milk. Remove from heat and immediately add egg yolks. Pour into a 1-quart casserole. Dot with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon. Place under broiler a few minutes to brown the top. |
