PECAN TASSIES 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. butter
1 c. pecans

Cream above ingredients and refrigerate for about 1 hour. Roll in 2 dozen 1 inch balls and mash into tiny muffin tins. Mash 1/2 of chopped nuts into dough add filling and top with remaining nuts.

FILLING:

1 egg
3/4 c. light brown sugar
1 tbsp. soft butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt

Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 250 degrees and finish baking until filling is set.
