STRAWBERRY PUDDING 
1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. whipping cream or equivalent in whipped topping
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, sweetened strawberries or 2 c. fresh, sweetened strawberries
1 c. pecans, chopped

Crumble wafers into fine crumbs. Put half the crumbs in the bottom of a 13"x9"x2" pan. Whip butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs together until light and creamy. Spread over crumb mixture in pan. Whip cream and spread over butter mixture. Spread strawberries over cream. Mix chopped pecans with remaining vanilla wafer crumbs. Sprinkle over strawberries. Chill overnight.
