QUICK PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE 
1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. creamy or chunk style peanut butter
1 lb. confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. walnuts or pecans if desired
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. non-fat milk powder

Melt butter and peanut butter in top of 2 quart double boiler over boiling water. Sift confectioners' sugar and dry milk together; set aside. Stir corn syrup, water and vanilla into mixture over boiling water. Blend in sifted dry ingredients in two additions, stirring until well blended and smooth. Remove from boiling water. Mix in nuts. Turn into greased 8 inch square pan. Cool. Cut into squares. This makes 1 3/4 pounds.
