MICROWAVE FUDGE 
1 lb. powdered sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1 stick butter
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Nuts (optional)

In a bowl, mix powdered sugar and cocoa well. Pour in a shallow Pyrex or Corning dish. (I use a 9 inch pie plate.) Cut in stick of butter on the top of sugar cocoa mixture; add milk. DO NOT STIR. Cook in microwave on high for 2 minutes. Remove and add vanilla and nuts. Stir well and refrigerate to cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
