TEXAS CHILI 
3 lbs. beef stew meat, cubed
1/4 c. oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
4-6 tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. ground cumin
2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
6 c. water
1/3 c. white cornmeal
Cooked rice
Cooked beans
Chopped onions

Brown stew meat in oil in skillet. Add next 6 ingredients to water. Simmer with stew meat, covered for 1 1/4 hours. Stir in cornmeal. Simmer, uncovered for 1/2 hour longer or until beef is tender. Serve over cooked rice and beans. Garnish with chopped onion.
