HOMEMADE ROLLS | |
1 pkg. yeast 2 c. warm water 3 tbsp. shortening 1 tsp. salt 4 tbsp. sugar 6 1/2 c. flour Dissolve yeast in water and let stand. Mix shortening, sugar and salt together, stir in yeast mixture, then sift in flour. Cover and let stand at room temperature for 2 hours. Mash down to let air out. Put a little melted butter on top of dough. |
