CHRISTMAS COOLER 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime flavor gelatin
1 c. boiling water
1 (6 oz.) can frozen limeade concentrate
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla
8 lg. ice cubes (2 c.)
2 (7 oz.) bottle ginger ale, chilled
2 c. cold water
Maraschino cherries with stems

In a bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water; cool. In blender container, combine gelatin mixture, frozen limeade concentrate, almond extract and vanilla. Cover, blend a high speed, adding 1 ice cube at a time until smooth and frothy. Transfer to serving bowl. Gently stir in ginger ale and water. Garnish with cherries. Makes 16 (4 ounce) servings.
