This is the best frozen cranberry salad. I have been making this for 25 years and am always glad I can find it here as I never can keep track of my recipes. This is a family tradition for Thanksgiving Day.

I found this recipe when looking for a reminder of what goes into the topping. This topping is excellent. The only difference between this and the recipe I usually make is that I add diced apples to the cransberry sauce. It adds a bit of sweetness that goes over well. (Also, instead of Cool Whip I make fresh whipped cream using heavy whipping cream and some light syrup for sweetening.)
