CHINESE ALMOND CRISPS 
1 c. unsalted butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. mace
1 tsp. almond extract
1 1/2 c. flour

Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy. Beat in remaining ingredients. Shape dough into 1 inch balls, and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10-12 minutes.
