MICROWAVE OATMEAL SQUARES 
4 c. quick oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. soft butter (melted)
1/2 c. corn syrup (white)
1 pkg. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 c. crunchy peanut butter

Mix together the oatmeal, brown sugar, butter and syrup. Press mixture evenly into a 9x13 baking dish. Bake in the microwave for 3 minutes, turn half around and bake for another 3 minutes, or until mixture is bubbling on top. Cool in the refrigerator.

In a 1 quart glass bowl, melt chocolate chips and peanut butter (about 1 1/2 minutes). Mix until smooth and spread over the oatmeal mixture. Cool in the refrigerator again. After it is cooled, cut into squares and store in freezer.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
