GERMAN CHOCOLATE UPSIDE DOWN

box German chocolate cake mix
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 can coconut
1 c. pecans
8 oz. cream cheese
1 box confectioners' sugar

Melt 1/2 stick butter and pour in greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle can of coconut and pecans over the butter. Make German chocolate cake according to directions on box. Pour the cake mix over the coconut and nuts. Beat cream cheese, 1 stick butter, and confectioners' sugar. Spoon this over the cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees for exactly 40 minutes. Do not overbake.
