1 box Duncan Hines butter recipe cake mix 4 eggs 1 c. sour cream 1/2 c. sugar 3/4 c. salad oil Mix and beat 4 minutes. Bake in 3 (9-inch) pans at 350 degrees about 25 minutes. FILLING: 1 c. sugar 1 c. evaporated milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1 stick butter 3 egg yolks, beaten 1 pkg. frozen coconut Mix everything together except vanilla and coconut, and cook over medium heat until thick. Cool. Add vanilla and coconut and put between layers. Make 7-Minute Icing and put between layers, on top and sides. Sprinkle package of fresh frozen coconut on top and sides. |
