SALMON PATTIES 
1 lg. can salmon
A little water
1 egg
10 or 12 crackers
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour (more if needed)
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Mash salmon and water, mix in egg. Crumble crackers into salmon and egg. Add salt and pepper. Then add dry ingredients, mix thoroughly. Dip by heaping tablespoonsful into deep hot grease of cooking oil. Fry until good and brown on one side. Turn and brown on other side.
