TURTLE CAKE | |
1 box German chocolate cake mix with pudding 1 stick butter 1/2 can Eagle Brand milk Plus everything the box of mix calls for. Mix well. Put 1/2 of batter in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 30 minutes at 300 degrees. Put balance of Eagle Brand in cooker with 1 stick of butter on low heat. Put 25 caramel squares in to melt. Add 1 cup of pecans. Have it warm when poured over cake. Then add balance of batter on top. Bake 30 more minutes or less, depending on your oven. 1 can of milk chocolate frosting; put on while cake is still warm. |
