1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. chunky peanut butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. rolled oats
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. M&M'S® plain

Cream together shortening, peanut butter and sugars. Beat in egg, water and vanilla; mix together the oats, flour, salt and soda. Add to first mixture and beat until well mixed. Stir in the candies.

Drop by tablespoons to cookie sheet and press down. Bake at 325 degrees about 10 minutes. Don't burn! Remove and cool. Put approximately 3 M&M'S® each little cookie.
