SQUASH AND APPLES 
2 lbs. butternut or buttercup squash
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1/4 c. melted butter
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 apples, cored and cut into 1/2 inch slices

Cut, peel and remove seeds from squash (or buy it already clean in produce section). Stir all ingredients except squash and apples. Arrange squash in 9x13 inch pan. Top with apples. Sprinkle and spread mixture on top. Cover with foil. Bake 60 minutes in 350 degree oven.

Can be prepared ahead. Great at Thanksgiving to bring as a vegetable dish.
