TOLL HOUSE CUPCAKES 
1 stick butter
6 tbsp. white sugar
6 tbsp. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. plus 2 tbsp. sifted all - purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Cream together butter and sugars. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well. Sift together flour, salt and soda. Stir into sugar mixture. Drop by rounded teaspoon into baking cups. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 375 degrees.

ICING:

1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts
Chocolate chips

Beat until stiff all ingredients. Then add nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoon on cupcake. Return to oven at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes 16 cupcakes.
