RIBBON CAKE 
2 tbsp. butter
8 oz. cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream first 4 ingredients. Add egg, milk and vanilla. Beat until smooth and creamy. Set aside. 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. softened butter 1 c. milk 1/3 c. milk 2 eggs 2 env. Nestles choco-bake 1 tsp. vanilla

In large bowl combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and soda. Add softened butter and 1 cup milk. Beat well for 1 1/2 minutes. Add 1/3 cup milk, eggs, choco-bake and vanilla. Beat well for 1 1/2 minutes.

In greased and floured pan, spread 1/2 of the chocolate mixture. Spoon on the cheese mixture. Then add the rest of the chocolate mixture. Bake for 50-60 minutes in 350 degree oven.

ICING:

1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1 env. Nestle's choco-bake
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. confectioners' sugar

In medium saucepan, combine milk and butter. Bring to a boil; remove from heat. Add Nestle's choco-bake and vanilla. Mix well. Add confectioners' sugar. Beat until creamy.
