CRANBERRY JELLO SALAD 
1 c. raw cranberries, ground
1 c. unpared apple, ground
1 c. sugar (opt.)
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon gelatin
1 c. hot water
1 c. sweetened or unsweetened pineapple syrup (drained from can)
1/2 c. seedless grape halves
1/4 c. broken walnuts
6 pineapple slices

Combine cranberries, apple and sugar (if used). Dissolve gelatin in hot water. Add pineapple syrup. Chill until partially set. Add cranberry-apple mixture, grapes and nuts. Place pineapple slices evenly in oblong pan. Pour Jello mixture over them evenly. Chill until firm. May be cut in 6 sections and served over crisp lettuce.
