SWEET BARBECUE CHICKEN 
1 cut-up chicken
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/4 c. catsup
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 to 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. grenadine (optional)
2 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic salt

Prepare chicken for barbecuing or baking. Remove skin, if desired. Place in shallow foil-lined baking pan. Combine remaining ingredients and heat on stove or in microwave until warm, 2-5 minutes. If not sweet enough, add more sugar.

Pour over chicken, marinate 30-60 minutes, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes, turn chicken and cook 30 more minutes. May cover chicken with foil and reduce cooking time. Also makes for moister chicken. Great served with rice.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
