CHOCOLATE CHIP BANANA MUFFINS 
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
1 c. mashed banana (approximately 3 bananas)
1/2 c. butter, melted
2 eggs
1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts or substitute 1 c. raisins

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt; make well in center. In small bowl, combine milk, bananas, butter and eggs; add to well in flour mixture. Add semi-sweet morsels and 1/2 cup nuts, stir until dry ingredients are just moistened. Spoon mixture into greased or paper lined muffin cups, filling each 3/4 full. Sprinkle approximately 1 teaspoon nuts over each muffing. Bake at 400 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes. Cool 5 minutes. Remove from pans. Makes nine 3 inch muffins. Cool on wire rack.
