EASY LEMON SQUARES 
1 c. softened butter
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
2 c. flour
4 eggs, well beaten
2 c. sugar
5 tbsp. flour
Juice of 2 lemons
Confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine butter, 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar and 2 cups flour. Pat into 13 x 9 inch ungreased pan. Bake 20 minutes. Mix eggs, 2 cups sugar, 5 tablespoons flour and lemon juice. Pour this mixture over the baked crust. Bake 25 minutes.

Remove from oven and sift confectioners' sugar over top. Cool completely. Cut into squares before removing from pan. Yield: 32 squares.
