TEXAS POTATO CASSEROLE | |
1 (32 oz.) pkg. hash browns 1/2 c. melted butter 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. chopped onions 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 c. sour cream (8 oz.) 2 c. crushed corn flakes 1 can celery soup 10 oz. Velveeta cheese, cubed or shredded cheddar cheese Defrost potatoes. Mix with other ingredients. Place in 9 x 13 inch pan. Combine 1/4 cup melted butter with 2 cups crushed corn flakes and put on top of potatoes. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. This can be prepared a day ahead and refrigerated until ready to bake. |
