TEXAS POTATO CASSEROLE 
2 lb. bag hash browns
1 c. sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 stick butter
1 bunch green onions
(or 1 reg. onion sauteed in butter until tender)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat butter and soup in saucepan. In 9 x 13 inch baking dish mix hash browns, onions and sour cream. Add mixture of soup and butter. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake 1 hour. If potatoes are frozen, bake 1 1/2 hours.
