THE ULTIMATE CHOCOLATE CHIP
COOKIE
 
3/4 c. Butter Flavor Crisco
1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 c. lg. pecan pieces

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine Butter Flavor Crisco, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla in large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer for 2 minutes. Scrape sides of bowl frequently. Add egg. Beat until blended. Combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Beat into creamed mixture at low speed of electric mixer or by hand with a large spoon until blended. Stir in chocolate pieces and nuts. Drop 2 rounded tablespoonfuls of dough into a mound on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 9 minutes (cookies will appear moist). Cool on baking sheet 2 minutes. Remove to cooling racks. 2 1/2 dozen (3 inch) cookies.

Note: If nuts are omitted, use 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate pieces.

Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie for Real Chocolate Lovers! Prepare the Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie as above, except replace 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces with 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces plus 1/2 cup milk chocolate pieces and 1/2 cup white chocolate pieces for a burst of chocolate flavor!
