EASY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. butter flavor Crisco or butter
10 tbsp. granulated sugar
10 tbsp. light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs or use egg beaters
2 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional) or 1/2 c. raisins

Cream together shortening, sugars, vanilla and eggs. Add flour and soda. Stir into creamed mixture. Blend well. Stir in chocolate chips (and nuts if used). Drop from teaspoon 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes, or when golden brown. Cool cookies; then remove from sheet and let cool on paper towel.
