1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg
2 c. buttermilk baking mix (Bisquick or Jiffy mix)
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix butter, sugar and egg together. Stir in baking mix, nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches part on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake about 10 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
