SCALLOPED CHICKEN 
2 qts. bread, cut into 1/2" squares
3/4 c. melted butter
1 tsp. sage
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 sm. onion, grated

Mix all ingredients lightly but thoroughly.

6 pieces cooked chicken (breasts)

Break into large pieces, put in 13"x9" pan. Top with bread pieces and sauce.

SAUCE: Melt 1/4 cup butter or chicken fat, add 1/4 cup flour. Add 4 cups chicken broth, cook stirring until thick. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
