SPICED PUMPKIN BREAD 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
2 eggs
1 c. pumpkin
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. raisins

Mix sugar and oil together until well blended. Add eggs, pumpkin, and 1/3 cup water and mix thoroughly. Sift dry ingredients together, add to pumpkin mixture and stir until just moistened. Stir in raisins. Pour into greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack. Freezes well.
